I love Doritos. Simply love ’em. And here in Taiwan, there’re some interesting, not-available-in-the-US flavors to choose from. You’ve got your “Fiery Garlic,” which I like. You’ve got your “American Taco” (they’re not called “Mexican Taco,” oddly), which I’m not crazy about.
But my favorite flavor, “Guacamole,” which was introduced in the States last year (and which Miles B. memorably described as “totally awesome”) is, sadly, nowhere to be seen.
Well, that all changed today.
Jill and I noticed that a nearby 7-11 was selling ’em. We bought a bag. They were fabulous. I argued, after we’d left, that we should immediately return to the store and buy every bag they had in stock. But Jill suggested that we check to see if other 7-11s were selling ’em, too. And they were. The guac Doritos are here to stay, baby. Thank God for life’s little pleasures. That’s all I can say.
