I’m an American journalist in Bangkok, Thailand. My work has run on AFP, in the New York Times, ABCNews.com, and more. I’ve also done TV reporting for Singapore’s Channel NewsAsia and radio reporting for ABC News Radio in US.

I grew up in Oregon, New Hampshire, and Beaufort, South Carolina. I have a BA in English from Emory University and a certificate in book and magazine publishing from New York University.

In addition to Bangkok, I’ve lived in New York City; Washington, DC; Cuenca, Ecuador; and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
