indieWIRE has a list of the International Documentary Association’s 25 best documentaries.
I’ve seen many of these films, but am glad to have this list on hand for future reference.

Although it might sound seamy, “Inside Deep Throat” is one of the best I’ve seen, detailing the cultural ramifications from the infamous 70s porn movie. It’s funny, entertaining and very well edited – and has a great soundtrack, too.
